Puri - Nandamuri Kalyanram's is one of the combinations which created good buzz everywhere . Adding to this, The Film's teaser also became sensational hit. The Teaser created good hype. Puri Jagannath didn't release the theatrical trailer of the film. So, people thought the film has got something new that's why Puri was not interested to reveal through the trailer. Surrounded by good hype and expectations the film has hit the theaters today. But the film has failed to reach the expectations of the people. Infact, film has nothing new to offer. The Concept of the film is good, But the narration, screenplay and story everything faltered. The Film looked like old wine in new bottle. same kind of routine stuff. Except Kalyan Ram's makeover good pre-climax scenes and couple of dialogues there are no other winning things. Puri inserted a social message this time, but it makes no sense because of the routine drama. The Film should have a strong emotional drama to build up a social message oriented film. 'Ism' fails to deliver it.All glitters are not gold. ISM falls under the same category. On the whole, the film is not worth of your bucks. The Film may have a good weekend, thanks to enormous hype. but definitely the graph will fall after the weekend.
Kalyan Ram has put all his efforts to give his best for the film. But unfortunately, Direction is the culprit. Lackluster script and direction makes #ISM a failed attempt.
